Travel in a civilized manner, at a deliberate rather than frantic pace, with fine dining in refined company  is hard to find nowadays. Traveling was once much more relaxed, more dignified and comfortable, one arrived at the destination happier and richer than when one departed. Today  the main pre-occupation is to reach the destination  as quickly as possible without paying any attention to the journey itself or deriving pleasure from it.
