My passion for toy trains did not come at an early age but about ten years ago (I was then forty), when I found an 0 Gauge SNCF  BB-8051 carefully packed in a box in my father’s cellar.
At about the same time I discovered Andries’ passion for trains when he used to be the main architect of Ace Trains' success.

When he decided to revive the Swiss brand Darstaed and offered me the opportunity of joining the team and distribute in France models of the famous Trains de Luxe and French locomotives, I did not hesitate a second.
