For the distribution in the EU of Darstaed products that are  imported into the EU
we have at our disposal an warehouse near  Antwerpen, Belgium.

With the steep increase of oil prices the cost of airfreight is  getting very expensive, therefore we prefer to ship by sea, a cost  saving that we will pass on to the customer.

The warehouse is owned by Mr Charles Drapers, a very old Dutch friend
of Andries Grabowsky, and is used to distribute and ship China made 
goods within the EU.

Special arrangements with courier services are in place and the staff 
is efficient and experienced.

We like to introduce the warehouse and its dedicated staff to you but  as the goods
of Mr Drapers are bicycle parts and rain clothing the insurance company will increase
its policy against theft multi fold  if we advertise that high value model trains are kept
at that  address. Although the Durex warehouse is across the street in this 
special zone, one can never be cautious enough !
If we do not show pictures and the address of the warehouse the  insurers agreed
not to increase their rates that would mean an increase in cost to the customer.

All the goods will be shipped ex-factory individually pre-packed in  courier outer
boxes that only bear a barcode so that not even the  warehouse staff and packers
know that your precious models are inside.

In Belgium the news of the day is that the sale of strong boxes has 
doubled and that break-ins will increase dramatically for the reason 
that many business keep their cash  on the premises as nobody trusts 
the banks anymore.
